Spin-lattice model for cubic crystals

چکیده

We present a methodology based on the N\'eel model to build classical spin-lattice Hamiltonian for cubic crystals capable of describing magnetic properties induced by spin-orbit coupling like magnetocrystalline anisotropy and anisotropic magnetostriction, as well exchange magnetostriction. Taking advantage analytical solutions model, we derive theoretical expressions parametrization integrals dipole quadrupole terms that link them material. This approach allows us accurate models with desired magnetoelastic properties. also explore possible way volume dependence moment Landau energy. feature consider effects hydrostatic pressure saturation magnetization. apply this method develop BCC Fe FCC Ni, show it accurately reproduces experimental elastic tensor, under pressure, magnetostrictive coefficients, magnetization at zero temperature. work could constitute step towards large-scale modeling phenomena.
